Diagnosis is always two-fold: The NATURE and CAUSE of a disease or injury.
Once both are determined, then a treatment can be designed.
"Occlusion" and "stability" both assume a perpetual contraction of the elevators.
"Dentistry is the stipulation of occluding"
If all condylar movement from CR is "down and forward", providing for immediate posterior disclusion,
then how come Dentistry assumes the incisors are still touching in a "protrusive movement"?
The Definition of Dentistry
Dentistry is the art and science of alveolar structures...and WHEN they come together.
The Continuum of Parafunction
"Bruxism": Jaw clenching, where the intensity of the clenching dictates the severity of the grinding.
